"Exactly what I'm thinking," he murmured, giving a sharp nip to Arthur's earlobe before kissing the spot. It was much more teasing than he was with many, enjoying the reaction he could manage from Arthur, whereas with so many he sought only his own pleasure. "I'm thinking about taking advantage of you to remind you that you need to be back here sooner than later.'

Just dropping the coat, he put his hands back on his hips, moving to guide him to the bed.

"I know we've talkd about it before but I want to make sure you're okay with it," he said, voice a low and velvetty rumble as he shifted, leaning his brow against Arthur's.

"Good. You better know that. I'd hate to have to get your name tattooed on my ass and have people speculating who Arthur is."

"We do what we have to do," he said, leaning his brow against Tony's. He silently breathed the other man in. "You do what you have to to keep up appearances and I'm doing what I have to." He paused and looked at the older man.

Arthur couldn't help himself, he laughed. "Yeah, that would be a way to come out."

"You know that you're the only one I've said those words to right," he asked, still hedging around saying he needed Arthur but wanting to make sure he knew and believed it.

He snorted, smiling though. "I'll tell them it's what I call Pepper in private. Let her deal with it."

Arthur's gaze softened as he nodded. "Yeah, I know." Tony Stark wasn't exactly the sort of man to tell anyone that he needed them. "Same goes for me, you know," he admitted and looked at him seriously.

"Ah, right," Arthur chuckled, nodded. "I can see that one going over very well."

"Well, yeah. I know," he said with a grin. "Course, you end up in the paper and we have bigger worries don't we?" Which did worry Tony. A lot.

"The papers would love it. Pepper would beat us both with a newspaper."

Arthur's lips curled up. "What I mean is, you matter to me and I need you too. Even if you don't hear from me often." Or at all went unsaid. It got easier, saying those words to Tony. He meant them though. Every single word.

He chuckled. "I'll leave you with those honors."

"Yeah, I'm aware." It was said softly, eyes lighting up to hear Arthur say it. Just hearing it meant so much and it really scared him that he liked hearing it that much. "Go on and get back. I know... Whatever it takes, however long. Got it? When you get back, call me soon as you can. If I don't hear from you... so be it but I get at least a text every week or I come and find you."

There was that tiny fear that if something happened, if Arthur died, he would never know.

Arthur nodded and allowed him another moment to just rest his head against Stark's shoulder. "I know," he said. He smiled and lifted his head to look at him again with a nod. "A text every week." And more if he could sway it. Tony Stark knew just how to calm him down when he absolutely needed it.

With another kiss, Arthur slipped away and got dressed again. He finalized the look by slipping in his cufflinks and straightened his tie. "I will talk to you soon."

The moment Arthur started to move away, Tony let him. He had been clingy enough not to continue once he knew the moment had come. Grabbing his slacks, he pulled them on and then stood there, watching the other man as he dressed.

"Do try and stay sane," he said, a cruel jab at the man he blamed for a lot of heartache in Arthur's life. And yet a plea as well.
