Between the time that he hung up the phone with Tony and got dressed for the event on Friday evening, Arthur researched everything he could possibly get his hands on regarding Anthony Stark and Iron Man. He found out more about the incident in Afghanistan, the arc reactor and anything else he could locate. He was very impressed by the man's sheer brilliance and amused by the drunken charades that he found from footage but yet, there had to be something more, didn't there?
Friday evening came all too soon and as such, Arthur made his way toward Stark towers dressed to the nines in a bespoke suit. In his line of work, it wasn't normally done to attend public events like this. You didn't want to be recognized, especially if there was a high chance of your photo being taken and used in business journals or media.
With that in mind, when Arthur arrived, he opted instead to go a different route away from the photographers and media wanting to get some word or quote for their articles regarding the opening of Stark Towers. As he stepped inside, Arthur took a close look around. Automatically his mind calculated all the entrances, exits and escape routes should he need one for any reason. You can take the man out of the military but you couldn't take the military out of the man. It was only after that did he pick up a glass of wine off a passing waiter and make his way around, looking for the man he was meant to meet.
It wasn't difficult locating Tony Stark - he had seen enough photos and videos that he could spot the man in the dark. He felt his lips curl up and made his way over to him. "Mr. Stark, it's nice to officially meet you," he said when he was within a few feet of him.
