Return to Malibu - PSL for Arthur

After certain delightful interludes in the office, as well as teasing the pointman rather mercilessly on the plane ride back to Malibu through teasing looks and comments that wouldn't mean much to anyone but him and Arthur, Tony found himself ready to do nothing but avoid work.

Which left him in a precarious position because he wasn't entirely trying to avoid Arthur.

Sleeping in, he had taken calls he couldn't avoid, made one to Mal that revealed nothing but was designed to ensure she wanted to know more. Having planted that idea in her head, he considered his options. In the end, he went down to the lab.

Surrounded by work, by Dummy and parts and things that could well explode, the chances were good that even if Arthur did seek him out, this would not be a place for the sort of work they were meant to do. It wasn't that he didn't want his mind militarized and protected to keep the suit safe. It was that he was certain that Arthur would do his job, do it quickly and efficiently, and he wasn't quite sure he was ready to let him leave his life. Not yet.

Arthur took a shuddering breath and licked his lips. "I'm certain that most people would recommend me not indulging you," Arthur smirked, looking at him after Tony turned him around. "If you didn't take advantage, I'd be even more surprised." He smirked and shook his head with a chuckle. "Is that right?"

"First, I'm going to put on a shirt," he mused then thought about it. "Well, there is the beach, you could show me around Malibu, you can return to the lab and I'll look around Malibu a bit..." Those were some of the ideas he had before he found Tony in the lab -- he didn't have very many options thought of.

"Never ask Pepper. She will first and foremost tell you not to indulge me. Ever. Her entire goal in my life, other than taking care of me, is to try and keep me from having fun," he said, smiling. "And you can't deny I'm the best. If you aren't sure of it yet, you will be." Of that Tony had no doubts. He wanted to show him so much. Including...

"Do you want to see Malibu alone? It's different than seeing it with me."

Arthur chuckled and sent him an amused smirk. "Perhaps, or she's trying to make sure you don't hurt yourself." From what he had experienced, Tony was already right up near the top of his list of best lovers that he's had. But he wasn't going to tell him that just yet. Let him wait.

He shook his head. "No, I want to see it with you. Assuming, of course, you want to show me Malibu," his lips quirked up.

“As if that’s going to happen,” he said with a snort. “Please. If I’m not being blown up or shot at, we all should just assume I’m doing well,” he said, finger tapping the arc reactor for emphasis. “Nor should anyone worry or assume that you, of all people, is out to hurt me. One, Mallorie recommended you. Two, you’re not the type.” He held up a hand. “And before you argue that, I will win this argument. You’re just not.” Of that he was willing to stake his life, and he was. Or at the very least, his sanity.


“Course I do. If only to ensure you come back here tonight and not head out with a couple of blond hard bodies,” he teased. “The babes here in Malibu are without compare in the world.” He looked Arthur over slowly. “At least for their women.”

Arthur chuckled and looked at the arc reactor, his fingers lifting up and tracing over it before he realized it. He glanced up at Tony once he realized what he was doing and raised his eyebrows. He was just about to open his mouth and argue that before Tony continued on. He smiled. "You think you know me so well," he said, his voice taking on a teasing tone.

"Why go out with a couple of 'blond hard bodies' when I have the best," he asked, smirking. He watched as Tony looked him over slowly and allowed his tongue to slip out and lick at his lips. "And the men?" His eyes were twinkling as he looked at him.

He went still, watching Arthur as he touched it. So very few had done that, only one that hadn’t been intent on taking the device in one way or another. He didn’t move away though, letting Arthur’s hand stay there. The light glowed a bit brighter, reflecting the sudden speeding of his heart. “I think I’ve become a lot better judge of people than I’ve been in the past so, yes.”

Tony chuckled at that. “”Well well, speaking of those that think they know someone else so well,” he said with a smirk. “As for the men, I think you’re damned biased, which I like. I’m all for being the center of attention,” he said with a nod, grin widening.

When the light became a little brighter, his hand stopped and went to move away, not sure if he had been supposed to do that or not. Truthfully, Tony was a lot more tuned into him than he had perhaps even realized. If anything, Arthur only resorted to violence in dreams and as a last resort. Normally, it wasn't his style or something that he enjoyed doing in the least. Who did? His lips quirked up. "Well, you're a good judge of me," he admitted. Least as far as that was concerned and perhaps his sexual preferences and likes.

Arthur laughed and took a little step back so he could throw his shirt back on for the second time that day and adjusted it before he looked at him. "I was merely using your words," he said with an amused smirk. He chuckled and shook his head. "Well, now you must take me on a tour of Malibu."

Tony covered Arthur's hand with his, keeping it there against his chest and the arc reactor. Leaning in, he kissed him soft and deep, groaning softly though he didn't take too much time to indulge in the kiss because he knew he wouldn't stop. "I'm trying to be," he admitted. "Taking a chance, but I'm trying." And one day he'd leave and Tony would deal with that when the time came.

He tsked. "You could just work without that," he pointed out. "The shirt, that is." He nodded. "Okay then. I'll even drive," he said, smirking. "Pepper will love that."

Arthur moaned softly into his mouth, returning the kiss. When he pulled back, Arthur licked at his lips and nodded silently. He understood that feeling. "I am too," he admitted. Soon, he'd have to leave to go on a job and whether or not they continued this when that happened remained to be seen.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Not going to work without a shirt," he smirked. "It'd just distract you further." Arthur grinned. "I should hope that you would drive, you do know the area better than I do." Of course, Arthur was also aware that people who had the amount of wealth that Tony had didn't exactly need to drive anywhere if they didn't want to.

Those little sounds Arthur made were going to make Tony come undone. They were sexy and delicious and he was curious what other sounds he could get from him. “You know we’re crazy,’ he said, making it a statement of fact. Nor did knowing it stop him from wanting more. “I’m going to be distract with or without it, but least the view will be nice,” he teased, smirking with a slanted curve of his lips.

“As for driving, I tend to use Happy as my driver but I’m thinking today should just be us,” he said, grabbing the front of Arthur’s shirt and pulling him close. “And I’ll try and not even ask you to blow me on the drive,” he said, not even able to hide his smile on that one.

"Probably," Arthur agreed, musingly. Still, he found that he didn't care nearly as much as he probably would have in any other situation. "Given how we first met? I'd say crazy is the perfect definition of what we are," he said but not caring in the least, surprisingly. He chuckled softly and shook his head.

Arthur moved in closer and rest both of his hands on Tony's chest. "I think so too," he agreed and licked his lips. "You can always ask," he grinned. "Can't promise I will deliver. If I have to wait, I think you should as well."

"We met because a good friend to us both recommended the other. We fucked because we like men when they're the right ones," he said, grinning, loving the being right as well as the teasing Arthur. Teasing Arthur was the most fun, he was finding.

"I can drive us to a secluded place if that's what it takes," he teased with a grin.

Arthur chuckled and just sent him an amused smirk. "Because someone couldn't keep his hands to himself and wait," he teased. Though they both knew it wasn't just someone but more like both of them.

He hummed and tilted his head. "Mm, if I have to wait until tonight, I think you do too," he teased. "Unless of course, you don't want to wait until the restaurant." It was fun, this teasing between them.

"I'm a selfish bastard. Haven't we already covered that. Besides, been blown up. I know what it means to not try and go for what you want because you don't know how soon it will end." He'd had several times he thought it was over, and he wasn't going to die with regrets.

"Wound up has a lot of ideas we can use," he noted, smirking. "But if you don't want to, not as if I would make you," he said, sounding coy and not as if he was warning him.

Throughout their entire conversation, Arthur's hands hadn't left Tony's chest and he hadn't taken a step away, just stayed close to the older man. His lips curled up and he nodded. "That makes a lot of sense," he admitted.

He chuckled and sent him a smirk. "Now, I didn't say I didn't want to."

"Wait, you're saying I'm right? Didn't they tell you to never do that," he asked, grinning. "Definitely keeping you around," he said, winking at Arthur.

"Oh? Do you now? Maybe I should have you tell me about it."

"Well, as you said, we have been through something sort of like this conversation before," Arthur mused, giving him a smirk. He chuckled and went to take a step away from Tony. "Mm, nope - I think it's time for us to go on this tour through Malibu," he smirked. "And stop at this private spot that you were thinking of."

"If that's what you want," he said cheerfully. "Give me five to freshen up," he said, batting his lashes and I'll meet you at the garage," he asked, arching a brow.

"And no doubt, it's what you want as well," Arthur said with an amused smirk. He nodded. "I need to freshen up as well so I'll meet you there," he agreed before walking around Tony and toward the doorway to return to his room. Well -- the room he had been given during the job.

He laughed. "I'm a hedonist with an ego. Course I want it. All the time," he said with a smirk, turning to watch Arthur walk away.

"Meet you in fifteen."

He took that time to go to his closet, changing to fresh jeans and a tee, the dark fabric mostly obscuring the arc reactor for the most part.

Slipping on loafers, he grabbed his wallet and keys, heading to the garage and ignoring the tightness of excitement and nerves at the pit of his stomach.

Arthur chuckled and made his way toward his bedroom and changed into a pair of jeans, a white button down shirt and a jacket to go over it, in case he should want one. He grabbed his sunglasses and his wallet before heading out of the bedroom. Arthur wasn't sure what was going to happen -- he was excited and beyond that, he was also nervous but it was a good sort of nervous.

He was looking at the cars in Tony's garage when the other man finally appeared. Oh, but the man looked good. "Have a great collection here," he said with a grin.

Coming up behind Arthur, Tony's gaze was taken with the point man more than the vehicles. After all, he saw them every day.

"I do try," he said, chuckling. "Got a preference?"

Arthur grinned at him. "No preference. Most of these are cars that either are far out of my price range or if they're not, they're just on this side of too flashy for my career. Which is your favorite?"

He considered them and then nodded. "This one," he said, leading the way to an Acura convertible. "It's one of a kind. They made it for me in hopes I'll speak for their product," he admitted, grinning as he crossed to it.

"JARVIS, keys," he said, holding out his hand. Something moved overhead and then the keys dropped into his hand.

Arthur's eyebrows rose as Tony lead them over to the convertible. Now that was nice. His lips curled up as he looked at him. "And did you," he asked, walking to the passenger's side door.
